It’s only Wed-nes-day… and I am SUFFERING?

I cannot believe this goes on for a SECOND TIME this week! This is why I feel I am in a questionable suffering position…? My “sweet” cousin comes to me today and asks in her pleasant voice…

“Can we go and eat at that WHOLE FOODS place you had commented about on your ‘lovely blog’ on Monday? If you could go with me, I will be so kind enough to drive the two of us over there because you lag a drivers license.”

(I’m sure this is the exact quote she gave me)

What? How did this get this way? How did I get to be the only “direction giving” one? …. well, I don’t know what else I would be in this situation. I became the “purchase my own food” and “eat my own food”. Eh.. I guess I could do those too. 🙂

Wait… Wait… Wait… This is ALL MY FAULT! I was just informed that someone had actually taken time to read this blog? That’s insane…

ok ok ok… What did I eat today…?

Well… I am found to be eating (in an image that I took of my food, so that I would remember it) a large bowl of some kind of flavored Mac & Cheese. Had some green… decoration on the top that was edible. A bit on the cold side, so I just packed it up and brought it home.

NEXT…. 6 Sushi Pieces. That was tasty. Kinda just popped those into the mouth… one-after-another. It was an interesting flavor once bitten into. Not bad at all. —– Oh, this is funny. I was seeing this green piece of “something” sitting in the corner of this plate.

Thinking… “Hmmm.. Let me see what that tastes like.”

Take a bite and find out it is actually a plastic piece for decoration? Haha…

Ah, Dessert…  Toasted Almond Cream Cake. Mmmmm…. That was tasty. Best of the three foods is dessert. Haha…

Now… The Drink! “Califia Farms Mocah Mexica Cold Brew Coffee with Almond Milk“. That is good stuff. Not “cow’s milk” which is good since I’m lactose intolerant.

Nevertheless, today was a good day. 🙂

Moons-day to fill a stomach

It is another Moons-Day (that day after Suns-Day and before Toos-Day) spent with the lovely Psych-lady. She shows that she is ready for only my hunger before my starvation by showing up at my presence on time. Ahhhh… It will be of a great “Meeting Time”.

Now, ON TO THE FIRST DISCUSSION…. She begins…

“Where would we like to go today?”

“Eh, I chose last week (but yet, I was unsuccessful at doing the meeting there), so I believe that it is YOUR turn to choose a more appropriate place in your eyes that we could eat and discuss things. But, I believe you would just force us to come back to the office again…”

What does she do? Psych-lady starts naming numerous places that she would enjoy going to, just to get her “job” done. No no no no… Doesn’t work that way. It was MY turn last week to choose. YOUR turn this week. WHERE ARE WE EATING?

Psych-lady thinks for a short moment and we are quickly in the process of leaving the building. We climb into her hefty vehicle and start driving (as if she still didn’t know where she was going). Quickly, I am forced to ride in an inappropriate U-turn in an intersection’s stop light and I proceed to ride along in the opposite direction we started. I just HOPE and PRAY she knows what she is doing and where she is going.

We quickly arrive at a destination.

Whole Foods Market

Ah. She wants to purchase food from Grocery Store that serves food from the Grocery Store and eaten at the Grocery Store? Hmmm…. This is interesting. I’m going for it. Well, I have to. I already announced that it was “her turn” to make the choice of where to eat.

This was good. I chose a “sandwich” on a shelf that was of two diagonally sliced pieces of bread with something in the middle of the two equal sizes and placed within the pieces of bread inside a triangular piece of clear plastic. The taste was… “do-able”. Try something new from the giant store next week? Mmmmm…. maybe. It will be my turn to make this lunchtime choice then.

Oh, wait! My Peach Flavored Green Iced Tea drink in a can. Not a whole lot of flavor. Kinda like water…?

Dessert! This was a REALLY GOOD carrot cake. It is a dessert that is well worth being a person in a dangerous vehicle where the passengers must ride with a driver who is making “U” turns in intersections that would be questionably illegal. Just as long as the lives are saved in the end, so this carrot cake can be enjoyed.

Nevertheless… I believe we could “maybe” go there again next week when the choice has fallen upon my own shoulders. I mean, then I “could” at least try another flavor of the nasty sandwiches that I had? Mmmm… Maybe.

The Volunteerism at the Establishment

Yes. It is true to say you should try to understand the outcome of the volunteerism being taken advantage of at the local hospital. This is simple enough. Simple to type. Simple to understand.

Today I awoke, got dressed and was walking toward my kitchen when I looked out the top of my front door and could see the taxi was already here!! He’s supposed to pick me up at 7:30, but he was there about 7:00. Geeze! Well, I wasn’t going to hurry for him. Never the less, cereal was eaten and lovely Starbucks Cappuccino from my maker was drank. Went outside, got in the van and off we went!

Got to the hospital and started thinking about “what do I need to do“. Ah! Walk to the other side of the hospital to receive my paperwork. Uh, well, it’s early. Like, 7:45 or so. I talk and yap with the ladies working over there at their entrance. There was one lady I’d never even met before, so I hadn’t had the chance to converse with her. After a LONG period of time, I choose to walk all the way back.

Getting everything straightened up at MY entrance, I see that I am WITHOUT the paperwork I need! Holy Crap! Should NOT be leaving my position at all, at any time! BUT my choice is to quickly walk all the way back over to the complete other side of the building where the ladies were and receive the paperwork of people staying in the hospital. THAT WAS THE WHOLE REASON I GO OVER THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! Oh, well… Got that and got back. Luckily, I did not find any “suffering” bodies who are that way without my help. Ahhhh….

Time went on, and on, and on……

“Good Morning…”

“Good Morning…”

Another interesting point from the morning was at more-than-one time I had been informed there was an old man wandering around the parking lot. He was unable to find his car. This was interesting because I had to make an “actual call” over to the hospital security to help find this vehicle. Wasn’t the first place to call, but I got a hold of these guys and told them what was going on. Guess they weren’t busy at the moment….

Got done there, had lunch while chatting with more volunteer ladies and I was gone.

That’s about it. 🙂

Ah… Wednesday…

Had a monthly meeting at the hospital today. That was pretty good today. Meet with all the other volunteers that do their positions there at the hospital, just like me. Lots of different positions are held by volunteers. Quite interesting. I’d have to easily say that I’m the youngest one there —- at 41. ha ha ha….

Just kinda went over a “monthly meeting”, that I guess any monthly meeting would be anywhere. I just wanted a REASON to get out of the house. Met other people that have volunteered for YEARS and YEARS. I tell them my “story” and they are always impressed. ha ha ha….

I do have one heck of a story dealing with my brain surgery. Eh?

But I am “young”.

Okay…. Done Reading!

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl
by Jesse Andrews

Very good. That book was easy to read. VERY EASY. Had to be a teenage type book. I’m not a Master or anything at judging books, but this was an odd one by the way it was laid out on my Kindle screen. Didn’t care for that fact. Now, I’m getting into tech-stuff.

Two guys and one girl. All teenage. She’s VERY SICK. Well, that pretty much sums it up. The two guys are good friends. The girl is REAL sick with…. leukemia.

So, it’s a funny beginning and in parts…

but the ending…

well…

I’ll type ya later.
